Jazz up an old frame with chicken wire

Every time I go to Salvation Army or Good Will I see these old frames. They are about $5 usually. I didn't know what I wanted to do with these two frames, so I decided to buy some chicken wire and see how that looked. What are your thoughts? Here is how I did it!

Step 1: Bought chicken wire and cut out the size of the back of the frame.

Step 2: Staple gun the wire to the back of the frame. However, in retrospect, I should have spray painted it first.

Step 3: If you do it in the order I did, then you cover the sides of the frame and spray paint. I used Krylon dark grey hammered because I already had it.

Step 4: I printed out a neat image from  Graphics Fairy and then burned the edges and used a stained safety pin to attach.

Total for the project: $5 for frame, already had chicken wire, printed image for free and already had the spray paint. So free because the frame was actually given to me :)

What do you think?
