27th Birthday A Success :)

What a fun weekend. My hubby surprised me and planned a night out on the town (the night before my birthday). We started at Petterinos, a fantastic restaurant in the theater district in downtown Chicago. If you haven't been to this great place, I for sure recommend it and don't just call the night before, it takes at least a couple of weeks to get in on a Saturday night. Then, he sweetly bought theater tickets to The Christmas Carol. Although I love Christmas and everything that goes along with it, I had never seen the play. It was AWESOME! Then on to Zed 451 for a fun time with our dear friends Matt and Britt.

Then I woke up this morning to my favorite breakfast in bed, huevos rancheros with a really hot latte! Then off to church to hear Pastor Lutzer give a sermon on what the new Earth will look like, can't wait. Then we went to a great new restaurant in Andersonville, called Acre, where we both got the Corn cakes, topped with bbq pork, an egg and hollandaise sauce. Then afterwards, we both fell in love with this boutique called Brimfield Plaid, www.brimfieldus.com. So super cute and reminded me of my days in England. This afternoon I have been playing with my birthday presents, Adobe Lightroom and a Dress Form to make clothes!!!

So thanks hun for a wonderful birthday!

Everyone should get a dog before they have a child :)

Jack got neutered on Tuesday, it has been a trip since then. Had I known I would be peed on, thrown up on and pooped on since then, I may have let the little guy keep his manhood. For those of you concerned for our little man, he is better, thanks :)

ON the note of children, I think that dog throw up, diarrhea, and pee smells and looks twice as awful as any baby I have taken care of.

Needless to say, we are happy and little Jack is happy that he is feeling better. He is back to his cute little mischievous self!

Meg+Joe One Year Anniversary Pics

Thank you so much Britt for taking pics of Joe and I. I absolutely love them and will cherish them forever. If anyone needs pictures taken, a website made, or any graphic design work, she is your lady. She is incredibly talented at just about anything she puts her hand too. She is a lady who loves the Lord and I am so blessed to call her a friend :)

Here are a few of the pics. You can go to her website for more information on her and to see her work. www.brittleighdesign.com

And great job Joe taking this picture of me and Brit. So glad to have a good one of us!
