High Gloss and lovin it

I have been painting furniture for a year now and love it, but wanted to try a few different things to mix it up. The latest MegMade creation is done with Rust-O-Leum High Gloss White Enamel and was done with a sprayer. I wasn't sure I was going to like the sprayer, but I have been converted, at least for now.

So, here is the first high gloss and first sprayed piece. It's up for grabs, so let me know if you are interested :)

Paint and Carpet do miracles!

Did you miss me? Well, I'm back and my life is starting to get back in order. We are pretty much moved in!

We have never come across anything like this with the marble top on it. Isn't the Annie Sloan color Old White beautiful with the brown and white tumbled marble?!?

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day can be so wonderful for some and so difficult for others. I pray that you felt loved today!

House rehab - part I

What have you been doing for the last 10 days you ask? Well, we have purchased a house, painted almost all of the 2100 square feet, including the moulding and the ceilings, laid all new carpet, moved out of our old apartment and cleaned it and raised a 9 month old. Wow... now I know why I am exhausted! But it is the good kind of exhausted. The kind where you know you have accomplished a lot! Here is a progression shot of our living room. It is still in motion, but thought I would give you a sneak peek at our progress!

So I thought I would start off with this picture because it is 4 degrees in Chicago today and I just need to live vicariously through someone in warm weather right now!! Good weekend for us to be stuck inside painting because this chica aint bravin this crazy Chicago weather!
